Lately the FMCSA is having technical issues.  I wish I could wave a magic wand and get all of my requests processed immediately but that's not the case right now.

They are currently working on upgrading to the new URS system.  I've noticed this month has been particularly bumpy.  They seem to be a few weeks behind!   Not just a few days.  


Here are the items the outage is affecting that I'm aware of...
  • MCS-150 filings that are emailed or faxed in
  • Name Change Requests
  • Address Change Requests
  • Reinstatement Requests

So far these seem to be working ok...or at least for now...
  • BOC-3 - off and on
  • New Authority Applications
  • Updating MCS-150 online [with PIN]
  • DOT & Docket PIN requests

Of course all of this is subject to change at any given moment.  Unfortunately, we're in the hands of our government concerning these matters.

And of course there's the phone:  800-832-5660 but from what I've heard it's hard to reach them through that method.
